Anything Goes Challenge Inspired by TV (Holby City)

Good morning Blogland

This is my second card submission as Guest DT member for the Anything Goes Challenge. The theme this week is "Inspired by TV", (Holby City - Get Well, Top Gear, anything with a vehicle, The Only Way is Essex - Make up and Shoes etc) This is also my spotlight fortnight.

It has been a great opportunity to be asked to be a guest DT member, I have tried to fulfill my duties and I have looked at all the wonderful cards submitted for the previous challenge, Celebration, and commented on quite a few.

I hope you like my own submission this week starring the gorgeous "Nurse Tilda". She is just so darn cute. I have coloured her with Polychromo pencils, blended with Sansador.

Hopefully this picture shows that my card is an easel card.

I have used some Woodware stamps that I have had for ages. These have been mounted on 3D foam to rest the easel on when opened.

Of course every card has to have some flowers and some bling and this is no exception!. I have used a punch for these stamps, and glitzed them up with stickles.

Well I hope you like what you see. Why not join us at the Anything Goes Challenge Blog - submit your card and at the same time take a look at all the other amazing cards that have been made by crafters world wide.

Guest DT Member - Anything Goes Challenge Blog

This fortnight's challenge is Birthday/Celebration

Well would you beleive it. I have been given the opportunity to be a guest DT member for the Anything Goes Challenge Blog. I am so excited but a bit nervous lol!

Anyway - the theme I was given was Birthday/Celebration and this is what I have come up with.

The background papers are out of a K & Co paper pad that I have had for a while and I just love the colour combos. The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and the image, if you have not already guessed is a magnolia image. I have coloured her with my favouite colouring medium, Polychromo Pencils.

When I was asked if I would like to be a guest DT member I was so excited as I have only just started entering cards into blog challenges. A DT member told me that the lady who owns the Anything Goes Challenge Blog also runs a craft shop "The Craft Den". Well I thought, I'll take a look at this Craft Den and would you beleive it, it is in Sheffield, close to where I live. My crafty friend and I have already arranged a visit to stock up on our crafting goodies. If you don't live close by, take a look at their website, they stock loads of fantastic crafting goodies.

Anyway, this is all from me today, now my holidays are over I can get down to some serious business - crafting!

Just for you

Good morning Blogland, or is it afternoon? Where do
the hours go when you are not working?

This card was made using one of the Lily of the Valley stamps I bought from the Papercraft show at Doncaster Racecourse on Saturday, and doesn't she colour up well - absolutely lover her.

I've coloured the image with Polychromo pencils and the tag stamp is also a Lily of the Valley product. The flowers are from Gill at the Hobby House and the background paper was some I had left over from a previous project. The lace at the bottom of the card is made with a Doohickey die.

I am entering this card into the following challenges
Lily of the Valley - Blue and Pink
Cute Card Thursday - Going Round in Circles

Anyway that's it from me today, take care and see you soon.

One for the Boys

Good morning Blogland

Today I would like to show you a card made with "Guitar Edwin". I don't have many Magnolia male images, but I do love this particular one.

Edwin has been coloured using Polychromo pencils and the edges have been inked with Tim Holtz distress ink. I have also stamped round the edges with another one of my favourite stamps from Stampelglede, it is from the "Grunge Collection"

The papers are from Kaisercraft, part of the "Jungle Bug Collection". These were from my local craft shop, The Craft Box at Elsecar, I practically live there lol.

I am entering this card into the

Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog, "One for the Boys".

Tilda on the Move

Good eveining blogland
This is the card I am entering into the Magnolia TOMIC Challenge - Create a scene and boy it's been a difficult one. Have been at this little sucker for two days, good job school has broke up and I have eight weeks holiday, not that I want to rub it in lol!

Any way here it is in all its glory, little Tilda sitting on her suitcase all ready to move into her new home.

Here's a photo shot of the card from a different angle to show some of the dimension.

Look, Tilda has even got her own house plaque complete with neighbourhood bird!

Plus the friendly neighbours have left her some potted plants.

Tilda has been coloured with Polychromo pencils, Tilda's house has been inked with Tim Holtz distress inks and stamped over with a text stamp.

That's it from me today, am going to have a rest now, went to Paper Craft show at Doncaster Racecourse and am totally pooped, plus totally skint!!!

See you soon

Tilda Easel Card

Good evening Blogland

It's taken me most of the afternoon to make this easel card. Have been interrupted several times fron my son, wanting snacks and sandwiches. Will be glad when he can feed himself, he is only EIGHTEEN lol.
Anyhow, here she is, such a cutie don't you think? She has to be one of my all time favouties and she's so lovely to colour. Used some paper that I bought from Gill at the Hobby House when she was at the Papercraft show recently at the Doncaster Dome. She has so much gorgeous stuff - spent a fortune!!

I have coloured Tilda with Polychromo pencils (my favouite colouring medium) and glitzed her up with Stickles, well a card is not fisnished without Stickles!

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and although I have boxes of them isn't it always the case that you just don't have the right colour lol. All the blue flowers that I have were just not the right shade, so, I have coloured some white roses with Aqua Pro Markers - worked a treat.

Teddy Bo - Anything but a card

Here is my entry for the Teddy Bo Challenge - Anything but a card.
I've had these frames for ages and didn't know what to do with them, when I saw the challenge, I knew straight away that they would be just perfect. However, first things first, I had to find them amongst the boxes and boxes of crafting goodies in my study.

Was thrilled to bits when they turned up. The frames were originally just untreated wood, I painted them in white acrylic paint and then distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink worn lipstick - love this colour. The images were coloured with my favouite polychromo pencils and the flowers were from my flower stash. I had to remove the plastic covering on the images because the flash on the camera gave too much reflection.

Hope you like my little wall hanging that now has pride of place in my craft study.
